Crickex arcade: Mines, Plinko and instant games

Arcade games are short, simple and quick: pick, drop or reveal, and you know the result in seconds. Many let you choose your own risk level, so the same game can be calm or wild.

This page explains the main arcade games, the real probabilities behind them, how risk settings change payouts, the providers at Crickex, and how to keep fast games under control.

Mines: the probabilities

On a 5 × 5 grid with 3 mines, 22 of the 25 tiles are safe. Your first pick is safe 22 times in 25, or 88%. Three safe picks in a row: 22/25 × 21/24 × 20/23 ≈ 67%. Each extra tile is a little riskier than the last, which is why the multiplier climbs faster the longer you go.

More mines mean bigger multipliers from the first tile but a much higher chance of hitting one. The multiplier shown is always set slightly below the fair odds, which is the game’s house edge.

Plinko: risk settings

In Plinko the ball bounces left or right at each peg, so it lands most often in the middle slots and rarely at the edges. Low risk spreads small multipliers across the board; high risk puts tiny multipliers in the middle and huge ones at the edges. More rows make the extremes rarer and bigger. The average return is set by the game’s RTP whichever setting you choose.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a strategy for Mines?

You can choose your risk, but not beat the edge. Fewer mines and earlier cash-outs mean frequent small wins; more mines mean rare big ones.

Which Plinko setting is best?

None is better on average. Low risk gives steadier results, high risk bigger swings.

Do arcade games count for promotions?

The Weekly Rescue Bonus covers arcade games at up to 15%.
